RESURRECTED Begins Recording New Album
October 16, 2008Long-running German death metallers RESURRECTED entered Catacomb Productions this week with Jochen Pelser (who was the sound engineer for the last FORBIDDEN European tour) to begin recording their sixth album. According to the band, Hazim Fouad finished laying down the drum tracks to "seven songs on Wednesday [October 15] so that had only three songs left for today — 'Perverse Consecration', 'Divine Masturbation' and a cover version of MORBID ANGEL's 'Day Of Suffering' which we've recorded in almost three hours this afternoon. Now everything is ready for guitar recordings which we'll start with next week."
RESURRECTED's fifth album, "Endless Sea of Loss", was released in October 2006 via Morbid Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Blood Spilled" was recorded at Soundlodge Studio in Germany and was mastered at Megawimp Mastering Studio in Berlin.
